1.Ink roller

Ink roller refers to all the cots in the ink supply system. The function of the ink roller is to deliver the printing ink to the printing plate in a quantitative and uniform manner. Ink roller can be divided into three categories: ink carrying, ink transferring and plate relying. Ink carrying roller is also called ink bucket roller. It is used to extract quantitative ink from ink bucket each time and then transfer it to ink transferring roller (also called uniform ink roller). The ink transfer roller receives these inks and evenly distributes them to form a uniform ink film, which is then transferred to the plate backup roller, which is responsible for uniformly distributing the ink on the plate.So far, the task of ink roller is completed. The uniform distribution of ink is gradually completed in the successive transfer process of several cots. In this process, in addition to cots, there are hard rollers and so-called ink rollers. In offset press, cots and hard rolls are always arranged at intervals, forming a soft and hard alternate collocation, this arrangement is more conducive to the transfer and distribution of ink. The function of inking roller can further strengthen the axial distribution of ink. When working, the inking roller can rotate and move in axial direction, so it is called inking roller.

2.Dampening roller

The dampening roller is the rubber roller in the water supply system, similar to the ink roller, and its function is to evenly transport water to the printing plate. Dampening rollers also include water-carrying, water-passing, and printing. At present, there are two water supply methods for water rollers, one of which is continuous water supply, which relies on the plate roller without water velvet cover, and the water supply is achieved by adjusting the speed of the water bucket roller. The early water supply method was intermittent, which relied on the plate roller covered with a water velvet cover, and the water roller oscillated to supply water. The continuous water supply method is suitable for high-speed printing, and the intermittent water supply method has been gradually replaced.

3.The structure of the rubber roller

The roll core and outsourcing rubber material are different depending on the purpose.
The roller core structure can be hollow or solid depending on the application. The weight of the rubber roller is generally required, it affects the counterweight of the machine, and then affects the vibration stability during operation.
Most of the rubber rollers of the offset printing machine are hollow rollers, which are generally made of non-feng steel pipes, and the shaft heads on both sides are welded to the steel pipes as a whole. However, in the near future, it is also made of non-metallic materials, such as glass fiber reinforced plastics and other polymer materials, whose purpose is to reduce weight and improve operating speed and stability. 4.The material of the glue layer

The rubber layer material has almost a decisive influence on the performance and quality of the rubber roller. Different rubber materials must be selected for different use environments, such as wear resistance, heat resistance, cold resistance, acid resistance, salt resistance, water resistance and so on. There are also hardness, elasticity, color, etc., which are all put forward in response to the use environment and customer requirements.
